LOI process and dates updated
The Application Information page now says invited applicants must submit a Letter of Inquiry through the online portal, and the portal link will be activated between March 1 and 31. Submissions outside that process will not be considered, and the page no longer shows the prior March 16 LOI deadline or email fallback instructions. The page also adds guidance that some applicants may be directed to regranting partners depending on request size and state, and that some current grantees may be asked to take a three-year pause after three or more consecutive years of funding. The annual meeting timing and emergency-request wording were also revised.

- If invited, use the emailed link to the application portal
- Follow the portal instructions and click Create new account
- Sign back in, go to My Opportunities, view the opportunity, read the Grant Application Summary and Description, and click Apply
- Confirm organization information, answer the prerequisite questions, complete the organization and project information, upload requested documents, respond to the feedback questions, and submit

- LOIs are reviewed before any invitation to apply is issued.
- Invited applicants receive a link to the online application portal.
- Registration is reviewed after account creation.
- Applicants are notified by email of the next step or confirmation.
- Funding decisions may be communicated later in the cycle.
