• The applicant must be a charitable organization.
• The organization must operate for the citizens of Norfolk County.
• The project must relate to at least one of the following areas: public education, health, arts and culture, recreation, or social services.

• Charitable organizations in public education
• Charitable organizations in health
• Charitable organizations in arts and culture
• Charitable organizations in recreation or social services

• Bursaries and scholarships awarded directly to individuals

Eligible geographic areas

• Norfolk County, Ontario

• Preference for capital projects that encourage more efficient use of community resources
• Preference for capital projects that address underlying causes of societal problems
• Preference for projects developed in consultation with other agencies and planning groups
• Preference for projects promoting coordination, cooperation, sharing, and elimination of duplicated services
• Preference for projects promoting volunteer participation and citizen involvement

• Scholarships and bursaries are awarded to educational institutions, not individuals, under the Foundation’s endowment fund guidelines.
• The Foundation may consider applications outside the stated deadlines on an exceptional basis.
