Documents Needed

  • Project budget showing where the requested funds will be spent, including matching funds or equivalent; if requesting multi-year funding, include the budget for each year requested.
  • Most recent Financial Statements, unaudited accepted, demonstrating you meet the General Granting Conditions.
  • Partnership agreement letter if you are not a Qualified Donee but are working in partnership with one.
  • Your organization's current policy regarding maintaining up-to-date vulnerable sector checks for staff and volunteers if the project involves working with anyone in the vulnerable sector.

Who is eligible?

  • Applicants seeking debt financing
  • Projects using the grant as part of a larger capital campaign

  • Direct staffing costs tied to the project
  • Limited ongoing operating costs in special cases

  • Print the application, scan it, and email it to info@thecountyfoundation.ca.
  • Drop off the application by hand at Unit 107, 35 Bridge St., P.O. Box 24, Picton, ON.

Processing and Agreement

  • An email confirming receipt will be sent within 48 hours.
  • A post project report is required and must be received within one year of the grant being announced, or two months following the end of the project, whichever is sooner.

  • Applications are competitive, and past funding commitments are not a guarantee that future requests will be approved.
