How to apply
- Complete the grant application and required support material.
- Submit the application and support material by email to office@chrysalisfund.ca.
- Applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
Processing and Agreement
- The Chrysalis Fund Executive reviews eligible grant applications in June.
- In September, eligible organizations must attend the AGM to give a five-minute presentation on their proposed project.
- Members vote online for their project of choice up until 10:00 PM on the day of the AGM.
- Organizations are contacted with the results of the members’ votes in September.
Additional information
- Qualified organizations may apply for full or partial funding.
- If a project is selected, the recipient must sign the grant agreement provided by Steinbach Community Foundation staff.
- Grant recipients must submit receipts; one cheque is issued for the full grant amount based on proof of receipts.
- If a project cannot be completed within one year, an extension request must be sent to Steinbach Community Foundation.
