Who is eligible?

- Writers of fiction, poetry, drama, or nonfiction
- Writers with a Saskatchewan connection

- Writers without Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
- Writers without the required Saskatchewan residence or career connection
- Posthumous nominations, unless the writer was alive at the time of selection
