Processing and Agreement
- Stage 1 applications are checked for eligibility and relevance.
- Eligible applications are peer reviewed by an international panel.
- Shortlisted applicants are invited to submit Stage 2 proposals.
- Stage 2 applications are reviewed and ranked for funding decisions.
- Successful applicants are notified after the final decision process.
Additional information
- Two team members must attend the annual GACD Research Network meeting.
- At least one attendee should be based in an LMIC or other lower-resourced context.
- Letters of support from the host institution are mandatory.
- Applications must be submitted in English to GACD and in one of Canada’s official languages to CIHR.
