How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare the pre-proposal
- Complete the pre-proposal form for ERDERA.
- Submit the pre-proposal online in English only.
- Step 2: Wait for invitation to the full proposal
- Only applicants explicitly invited by the Joint Call Secretariat may submit a full proposal.
- Step 3: Prepare the Canadian CIHR application, if applicable
- Canadian consortium members invited to the full proposal stage must complete an abbreviated CIHR application.
- Submit the CIHR application through ResearchNet in one of Canada’s two official languages.
- Step 4: Submit the full proposal to ERDERA
- Submit the full proposal to ERDERA in English only.
Processing and Agreement
- The pre-proposal is reviewed first, and only invited applicants can move to the full proposal stage.
- Canadian applications include a CIHR abbreviated application submitted through ResearchNet at the full proposal stage.
- Final funding decisions are made after the full proposal stage.
