  • Organizations without a Canadian base or required mandate
  • Projects not led by an eligible nominated principal applicant
  • Teams lacking the required interdisciplinary knowledge-user roles

Eligible expenses

  • Travel and accommodation for required meetings
  • Accessibility supports
  • Translation and preparation of public materials
  • Community engagement and participation costs
  • Release time allowance for eligible knowledge users

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • New preclinical vaccine development
  • Open access publication fees for engaged avian influenza researchers are not covered by the Hub
