TCSYP eligibility and application rules updated
The Prepare to apply page now sets out how to submit an Expression of Interest by email, lists six required information sections, and says incomplete EOIs may be given 5 business days to provide missing information or be rejected. It also says results are expected by the end of November 2026, with full applications potentially requested by mid-December 2026. The Who can apply page now states that applicants must show capacity for at least 500 youth placements annually, expertise in construction and trades, and partnership-building capacity, and that project activities must take place in Canada. It also now identifies eligible youth as ages 15 to 30 who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons granted refugee protection in Canada and legally entitled to work, and shows projects may receive up to $15,000,000 per year for a maximum of $30,000,000 over 2 years.
