  • Non-profit organizations created solely to serve the private interests of their members
  • Organizations owing money to the Ministry without a repayment agreement or not respecting one

  • Professional fees for accounting, reporting, and financial statements
  • Advertising and promotion
  • Training and skills development
  • Insurance, communication tools, travel, equipment, and general overhead

  • Fines and related legal fees for civil or criminal offences
  • Monetary donations to a foundation
  • Personal loans to staff or administrators
  • Expenses used to cover an accumulated deficit
  • Costs not related to the organization’s mission
  • Costs already covered by other government funding

  • Organization’s experience related to the request, feminist intervention approach, governance, and annual report
  • Financial statements and the proportion of funding requested
  • Demonstrated needs to be met
  • Fit with the program objectives
  • Projected use of the funding and priority given to underserved Quebec sectors

How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare the application
