Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Incorporated non-profit theatre organizations
  • Unincorporated not-for-profit theatre collectives
  • Professional theatre artists and collectives based in Toronto

Who is not eligible

  • Individuals
  • Schools and tuition-funded training programs
  • Educational or religious institutions without separate arts programming and budgets
  • Organizations already receiving TAC Operating funding
  • Projects led by people not based in Toronto

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Projects started or completed before results are announced
  • Ongoing operating costs, including permanent staff salaries

  • Touring, travel, and accommodations outside Toronto

Processing and Agreement

  • Approved applicants must sign a Letter of Understanding before funds are released.
  • Recipients must file a final report after project completion.
