Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Markham residents
  • Two-person resident teams from different households
  • Adult and youth resident applicants, with at least one adult

Eligible expenses

  • Project-related materials and purchase costs.
  • Honorariums for in-kind services, up to the program limit.
  • Costs supported by original receipts.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Projects already completed before approval.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by a City Staff committee each funding year.
  • Recommendations are made to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Funding amount and conditions are assessed through scoring and discussion.

  • A project report must be submitted after completion.
