Support program for Quebec sports federations

• The applicant must be a Quebec sports federation recognized by the Government of Quebec under the Recognition Program for Quebec Sports Federations.
• The application must be submitted as part of the program’s 2020–2026 funding cycle.

Who is eligible?

• Québec sports federations recognized by the Government of Québec under the Québec Sports Federations Recognition Program

Who is not eligible

• Organizations that are not recognized as a Québec sports federation under the Government of Québec’s “Programme de reconnaissance des fédérations sportives québécoises”.

Eligible geographic areas

• Quebec (Québec sports federations recognized by the Government of Quebec).

• Compliance with the standards and criteria established by the normative framework for the granting, maintenance, or withdrawal of financial support.
• Application of the rules for the allocation of financial support provided for in the normative framework.
• Consideration of the variables identified in the normative framework that may influence financial support.
• Compliance with the accountability and capping measures provided for in the normative framework.

• Applications are analyzed for the 2020–2026 cycle.
• Grant amounts are set for the full duration of the cycle.
• A program standards framework (“Cadre normatif du programme”) is available as a reference document.
• The program is aligned with the Quebec Sport Federations Recognition Program.
