Overview

The program supports accessibility costs so people who are D/deaf or living with a disability can access the Conseil’s programs and services equally. Funding is available up to $500 (Component 1), up to 50% of the proposed budget (Component 2), and up to $2,000 (Component 3) for application support, accessibility costs for a Conseil-funded project, and accessibility costs to receive audiences for a Conseil-funded project.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be an artist, an artists’ collective, or an arts organization.
  • The request must relate to accessibility needs for people who are D/deaf or living with a disability.
  • For Components 2 and 3, the request must be tied to a project funded by the Conseil.

  • The Conseil typically takes eight to ten weeks from the application date to process the application and reach a decision.
