Selection criteria

  • Organizations retained as partners must be innovative, directly involve affected people, and develop structuring and sustainable initiatives.
  • Phase 1 reviews the problem analysis, realism, coherence, promising nature, and the place given to vulnerable or marginalized people.
  • Phase 2 reviews governance, community character, long-term vision, alignment with the issues and population reached, financial aspects, and the ability to address systemic issues.

How to apply

  • Submit documentation that explains the project or initiative to Mission inclusion.
  • You may use a letter of intent, a video, or existing documentation.
  • Indicate the requested amount, the latest financial statements, the program, and the number of years requested.
  • If available, you may also include your CRA registration number, but it is not required.

Processing and Agreement

  • After the study, the organization is informed whether the project is retained for Phase 2.
  • If retained, the organization receives the procedure for submitting the application to Mission inclusion.
  • A project that meets all criteria may still not reach Step 2 for financial reasons only.
  • Organizations retained after Phase 1 are invited to submit a complete file in Phase 2.
  • Phase 2 reviews governance, community character, long-term vision, financial aspects, and systemic issues.

Additional information

  • Only one project may be submitted per 12-month period.
  • Applicants are informed after Phase 1 whether they are invited to Phase 2.
  • The program is currently limited by available funding.
