This funding supports non-profit organizations serving youth aged 11 to 18 to help prevent psychological distress and related risks. A maximum of $20,000 per request is available for initiatives aligned with specified focus areas such as mental health, bullying and violence, school dropout prevention, and social exclusion.

Eligibility

The applicant must be a non-profit organization.
The organization must work with youth aged 11 to 18.
The organization’s work must focus on preventing psychological distress among youth.
The organization must operate in at least one of the program’s specified intervention fields.
The organization must work in one of the eligible regions.

Who is eligible?

Non-profit organizations serving youth aged 11 to 18.
Youth-focused community organizations working in mental health, addiction prevention, violence prevention, school retention, or social inclusion.

Additional information

Approximately 20 organizations are supported each year.
Funding is raised through the Mayor’s Ball in Quebec City and the BN Grand Tour.
Application forms are available in French only.
