Who is eligible?

  • Students between 15 and 29 years old as of April 1.
  • A student returning to school full-time or part-time in the fall.
  • A resident of Ontario, a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant.

Who is not eligible

  • People operating an existing business.
  • People employed more than 8 hours per week throughout the summer.
  • Partnerships.
  • Franchises.
  • Distributorships.
  • Multi-level marketing ventures.
  • DJ's dance/party events.
  • 1-900 businesses.
  • Previous recipients of a Summer Company Award.
