- The committee is composed of people selected or recommended by PROCURE and by the Chair of the FBAUC Scientific Council.

- Only one application per candidate is accepted.
- Biological samples are not required, but PROCURE biobank samples are preferred if used.
- A progress report is required six months after the project period.
- A public-friendly research summary and any related publication or presentation must be provided after 12 months.
