Selection criteria

  • Originality of the research project.
  • Relevance to prostate cancer research.
  • Preference for projects using PROCURE biobank biological samples, when applicable.

How to apply

  • Step 1: Complete the application package
    • Fill out the application form.
    • Prepare the research proposal and supporting documents.
  • Step 2: Submit by email
    • Send the completed form and supporting documents to marfisa.defrancesco@cua.org.
    • Wait for a confirmation email acknowledging receipt.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed and approved by the FBAUC-PROCURE prostate cancer review committee.
  • The committee is composed of people selected or recommended by PROCURE and by the Chair of the FBAUC Scientific Council.

Additional information

  • Only one application per candidate is accepted.
  • Biological samples are not required, but PROCURE biobank samples are preferred if used.
  • A progress report is required six months after the project period.
  • A public-friendly research summary and any related publication or presentation must be provided after 12 months.
