Who is eligible?
- Only Canadian post-secondary institutions are eligible to apply on this call.
Who is not eligible
- Direct applications from individuals are not accepted.
Eligible expenses
- Scholarship amounts.
- $500 per implemented scholarship to cover administrative costs of the Canadian institution, including an employer compliance fee paid to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, where applicable.

Selection criteria
- Selection at the program level is based on the institution’s submission of a Management and Accountability Framework (MAF).
How to apply
- Canadian institutions must submit their application through the My EduCanada portal.
- Canadian institutions must email the completed Management and Accountability Framework to Scholarships-Info-Bourses@international.gc.ca by the application deadline.
- The institution must submit one or more individual scholarship nominations via the My EduCanada portal.
Processing and Agreement
- Canadian institutions are responsible for the selection of students.
- Selection at the program level is based on the institution’s submission of a Management and Accountability Framework (MAF).
- The Privacy Notice Statement (PNS) is the only supporting document required to be submitted by the institution on behalf of the student through the My EduCanada Portal.
- A project must be completed no later than September 30th, 2027.

- Canadian institutions are responsible for identifying and selecting eligible participants before submitting their application.
- Direct applications from individuals are not accepted.
- The deadline for Canadian institutions to email the completed Management and Accountability Framework to Scholarships-Info-Bourses@international.gc.ca is 11:59 p.m. EDT, March 31, 2026.
