Who is eligible?
- Schools and community agencies.
Who is not eligible
- Lunch, snack PM, and dinner programs that were not funded in the prior three years.
Eligible expenses
- Food and consumable supplies, such as napkins and dish soap.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- SNP food must not be used for culinary, academic, or life skills classes, or for weekly school luncheons or fundraisers.
- Handling fees for pick-up services, delivery fees and gratuities cannot be paid for with nutrition funds.
How to apply
- Log into TGRIP from cot.smartsimple.ca.
- Confirm your contact profile and organization profile.
- Start a new Student Nutrition Program application.
- Access an application that is in progress, if applicable.
- Complete the Student Nutrition Program application form.
- Submit the completed application.
Processing and Agreement
- Funding decision notifications will be emailed to all applicants c/o site authority in June 2026.
- Each June, a funding allocation letter will be sent to the Site Authority listed on the application.
- Only the Site Authority has system access to view and download the funding details and allocation letter(s).
- If a late application or appeal application was submitted, the funding details and allocation letter will also be included in the package.
