- Development or redevelopment that results in the establishment of a Garden Suite
- Professional fees for designs or services reasonably associated with the eligible works

- Cosmetic, material lifecycle replacement, or otherwise visual improvements to an existing dwelling, secondary suite or garden suite

How to apply
- Arrange a pre-consultation with the CIP Coordinator to discuss the project, identify eligibility, review applicable streams, and receive preliminary feedback
- Submit the application with the supporting information and materials identified at pre-consultation
- Wait for the CIP Coordinator to review the application for completeness and general eligibility
- If the application is accepted, it is forwarded to the Implementation Committee for review and then to Council or the delegated committee for a final decision
Processing and Agreement
- Once an application is approved by Council, the applicant may commence the community improvement works
- Payment of the financial incentive is provided upon successful completion of the approved works
- Before payment is issued, the applicant must provide final supporting documentation
- The Municipality may request photographs of the completed work or perform a final site visit and inspection
