How to apply

- Discuss the proposed request before submitting anything.
- Step 2: Submit a Letter of Inquiry
- Submit the online LOI if invited after the initial discussion.
- Send the inquiry by the stated deadline for the relevant board meeting.
- Step 3: Submit a full application if invited
- Complete the full application only if the Foundation requests it after LOI review.
- Submit through the Foundation’s online grants management software.
- Step 4: Await the board decision
- The directors review the proposal at a board meeting.
- Applicants are advised of the decision after the meeting.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by the Foundation’s directors at semi-annual board meetings.
- Directors consider community needs, economic indicators, and other contextual factors.
- Applicants are notified soon after each board meeting whether the request was approved or declined.
- There is no appeal process for declined requests.
