Eligibility

  • The awardee must operate or be affiliated with a qualified U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (or global equivalent outside the U.S.).
  • The affiliated nonprofit organization must be able to receive corporate funding.
  • The affiliated nonprofit organization must have annual operating income between $100,000 USD and $2,000,000 USD.
  • The work must address a pressing social or environmental challenge through an innovative solution.

Who is eligible?

  • Social entrepreneurs affiliated with qualified nonprofit organizations.
  • U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations (or global equivalents outside the U.S.).

Who is not eligible

  • Individuals or organizations not operating through, or affiliated with, a qualified U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit (or global equivalent outside the U.S.).
  • Organizations that cannot receive corporate funding.
  • Organizations with annual operating income under $100,000 USD or over $2,000,000 USD.

Eligible geographic areas

  • United States (via qualified U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations)
  • Outside the United States (via a global equivalent nonprofit organization)

Processing and Agreement

  • Second-round applications were anticipated to be invited by October 11, 2024.
  • Final award decisions were expected to be made in December 2024.

  • Designed to celebrate social entrepreneurs and the nonprofit organizations they are affiliated with.
