SCF Annual Grants - Squamish Community Foundation (2026)

Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Any registered nonprofit or charitable organization may apply for an Annual Grant.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Retire debt or fund projects already completed.
  • Direct faith-based or political activities.
  • Support fundraising, advertising, promotional activities or commercial events.
  • Establish or add to endowed funds or annual fund drives for sustaining support.
  • Operating or capital deficits.

Selection criteria

  • Priority will be given to applicants who specifically address a community issue outlined in the 2023 Vital Signs report.

How to apply

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by an independent Grant Committee comprised of Squamish community members and chaired by one or more SCF board members.
  • The committee recommends grant distribution amounts and recipient organizations to the SCF Board of Directors.
  • The SCF Board of Directors approve the final Annual Grants recipients.
