Provides up to $25,000 in cash to restore well-loved community spaces in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Funding supports practical improvements such as repairs, painting, and seating upgrades in existing facilities.

Activities funded

  • Restoration and refurbishment of existing community spaces.
  • Facility maintenance and repair projects that protect well-used community hubs.
  • Improvements that enhance comfort or usability in existing community gathering places.
Examples of admissible projects:

Replace unsafe rink bleachers and repaint boards for safer events

Repair roof leaks and refresh interiors of a youth centre seating area

  • The project must focus on restoring an existing, well-used community space (not building a new facility).
  • The proposed improvements must help maintain or protect a well-loved space where community activities take place.
