This program provides up to $2,000 to support initiatives that improve local communities in the Oceanside region. Funding supports projects focused on children and youth, local agriculture and food systems, and environmental stewardship, sustainability, and biodiversity.
Activities funded
- Initiatives that improve the quality of life for children and youth.

Examples of admissible projects:

After-school garden-to-table program teaching youth cooking and ecology

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a Canada Revenue Agency registered charity.
- Organizations sponsored by a CRA registered charity are eligible.
- The initiative must support local community improvement within the Oceanside region.
- The initiative must align with at least one focus area (children and youth; local agriculture and food systems; environmental stewardship, sustainability and biodiversity).
