- First Nations and Band Councils recognized by the Government of Canada
- Tribal Councils recognized by registered First Nation Bands
- Inuit communities
- Métis Nations or governments recognized by the Government of Canada
- Indigenous-controlled or Indigenous-operated not-for-profit organizations
Who is not eligible
- Provincial/Territorial Aboriginal Sport Bodies and the Aboriginal Sport Circle under Streams Two and Three
- Organizations that do not meet the stream-specific Indigenous eligibility requirements
Eligible expenses
- General administration costs, such as office operations, supplies, printing, and translation
- Salaries, fees, and benefits for project staff
- Project delivery and evaluation costs, including honoraria, instructors, facility rental, travel within Canada, equipment, accommodations, workshops, events, promotion, and professional development
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- High-performance sport and athlete development activities
- Individual grants or scholarships
- Capital costs, including buildings, land, construction, and renovations
- Fundraising, medals, trophies, awards, incentives, and banquets
- Personal items that do not remain the property of the organization

- Applications are reviewed for eligibility after the deadline.
