Eligibility
- The applicant must be a federally or provincially/territorially incorporated not-for-profit organization in good standing.
- The organization must be a designated member of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Sport Institute Network (COPSIN) established in Canada.
- The organization must be recognized by Sport Canada and Own the Podium.
- The application must include all required documents: proof of incorporation, audited or board-approved financial statements with an auditor’s letter, a business or strategic plan, and an operational plan.
Who is eligible?
- Federally incorporated not-for-profit organizations designated as Canadian Sport Centres
- Provincially or territorially incorporated not-for-profit organizations designated as Canadian Sport Centres
Who is not eligible
- For-profit businesses are not eligible.
- Organizations not incorporated at the federal or provincial/territorial level are ineligible.
- Entities that are not designated members of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Sport Institute Network (COPSIN) cannot apply.
Eligible expenses
- Salary and benefits of coaches and technical directors, in accordance with Sport Canada's funding requirements.
Eligible geographic areas
- Organizations established in Canada as members of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Sport Institute Network (COPSIN), recognized by Sport Canada and Own the Podium, and supported by partners across different provinces or regions in Canada.

- Confirm your organization's designation as a Canadian Sport Centre member of COPSIN

Prepare application package
- Contact the program to request an application package
- Prepare all required documentation: application form, proof of incorporation, financial statements, business plan or equivalent, operational plan or equivalent

Submit the application
- Submit the complete application package by email to contributionssportcanada@pch.gc.ca
- Ensure submission is made no later than 11:59 p.m. local time on December 11, 2024

- Wait for a decision from the Department of Canadian Heritage
- Monitor provided contact details for updates or requests for additional information
