- International organizations applying through an affiliated partner that is a registered charity in Canada
Who is not eligible
- Organizations located in Quebec must follow a different process for sponsoring refugees.

- Financial support for refugees, including basic living costs such as housing, food, and transportation.
- Settlement support and orientation costs for newly arrived refugees.
- Initial settlement costs related to sponsoring refugees.

- Action plan - a well thought out action plan that works towards achieving the stated goals of the project
How to apply
- Complete the application below and email it to grants@foundationofhope.net.
Processing and Agreement
- After the application is reviewed, the sponsored refugee’s permanent residence application is sent to a visa office abroad for review.
- If approved, the visa office issues a visa for each approved refugee and contacts the International Organization for Migration to arrange travel to Canada.
- If the application is refused, the applicant is informed why.
- After submission, sponsors should keep their contact information up to date for themselves and the refugees they are sponsoring.
