Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Women
  • Applicants aged 17 or older
  • Applicants registered with an accredited institution or association for a single course or full program
  • Applicants who live in Northeastern BC or intend to return to the region at program completion
  • Applicants who have not received financial support through the Spark Women’s Leadership Educational Bursary in the last 24 months

Who is not eligible

  • Applicants who are not women.
  • Applicants who have received financial support through the Spark Women’s Leadership Educational Bursary in the last 24 months.

Eligible expenses

  • Tuition
  • Living expenses while attending school
  • Other school-related expenses, such as books and safety equipment

How to apply

  • Complete all sections of the application form.
  • Attach an admission letter or other proof of course enrolment from the educational institution.
