Last Update: July 8, 2026
Latest change: Sound Recording guidance was updated with revised eligibility, funding, application, and contact details, plus stronger assessor guidance.
Sound Recording guidelines and support pages updated
The Sound Recording Grant Guidelines now show revised project requirements for EP and LP streams, new funding terms of 50% of eligible expenses with caps of $10,000 for EP and $15,000 for LP, and updated contact details. The application and support materials also changed: the budget and travel guidance was revised, the fast-track section was removed from the main Sound Recording page, and a new assessor-tips block now gives stronger direction on how to frame applications. The Sound Recording summary in the general program guidelines now describes the program as supporting commercially viable sound recordings for commercial release, which affects how the grant’s scope is presented. The guidance pages also now emphasize annual template updates and revised eligible and ineligible expense notes, including the requirement to use the current budget template and the updated travel and acknowledgement instructions.
