2026 grant guidelines updated
New official 2026 grant PDFs update the grant schedule for Lodge Culture and Heritage Grant and Lodge Vitality Grant: projects now run January 2027–March 2028, applications are due December 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT, notifications are in Spring 2027, and payments are in late Spring 2027. The disaster-relief guidelines also add clearer eligibility and application requirements, including that the damaged property must be the member’s primary residence, the home must be significantly damaged and temporarily unlivable due to a natural disaster, and applications must include English-language online submission with photos, a brief statement, and current contact details if the applicant is displaced.

- Award decisions are based upon observance of one or more of the Sons of Norway Foundation’s core values.

- The Foundation will make final decisions based on assessments of loss and the level of financial support available from the Humanitarian Fund of the Sons of Norway Foundation.
