- Projects based on school manuals or other educational materials
- Coloring books and interactive activity books
Eligible expenses
- Translation fees
- Commercialization, promotion, press and advertising costs direct on the Swedish market and digital platforms, including external fees and promotional materials
- Production costs for promotional tools such as catalogues, bookmarks, displays, mailing and digital marketing
- Travel for authors and illustrators to Gothenburg, up to CA$4,000 per person for a maximum of 2 people, including international travel, local transport and accommodation
- Interpreter fees, if applicable

- Self-published books
- Educational materials such as school and extracurricular manuals
- Colouring books and books that can be written in, drawn in, coloured, cut up, or otherwise altered

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are analyzed by SODEC professionals, with external advice if needed
- SODEC’s financial availability is considered in the decision process
- The closing documents must be received and approved by SODEC for the final payment
