- Production and post-production costs linked to the enhanced budget for non-Quebec markets
- Administrative costs, up to 10% of B + C
- Costs to extend or acquire rights for non-Quebec markets
- Additional animation episodes, up to 50% of the number planned in the national budget

- Expenses and distribution costs that are not actually incurred, are not reasonable, or are not consistent with usual industry standards
- Distribution and sales expenses not net of non-repayable financial assistance or distribution subsidies
- Revenues from a distributor related to the enterprise are not eligible for the 5% administrative-cost compensation

- Financial strength of the enhanced component, including the financial structure, production budget, added investment, and eligible expenses

How to apply
- Submit the application through the secure SOD@ccès portal.
- Create your user profile if you are a new user or enter your access codes.
- Select program number 60-42-01.
- Complete the application form and upload all required documents.
- Ensure the application is complete and compliant before the deadline.
Processing and Agreement
- Annual exploitation reports must be submitted via SOD@ccès, accompanied by distribution reports.
- For the first seven years after the closing of the relevant financial assistance file, reports must be filed once per year no later than 31 August for the reference period from 1 July of the previous year to 30 June of the current year.
- After that period, reports are required only if the production generated revenues during the reference period.
- SODEC will verify and approve the submitted reports annually.
- A bill is sent when the amount due to SODEC is at least $50, and smaller amounts are carried forward to a future report submission.
- Payment is made through ACCEO Transphere.
Additional information
- Applications and supporting documents must be submitted in French.
- SODEC may request additional information or supporting documents during review.
- Beneficiaries must keep records and supporting documents for five years after receiving support.
