Who is eligible?
Recognized community, cultural, sports and recreation organizations; local or sectoral concertations; and social economy enterprises headquartered in Longueuil may apply, according to the 2023 guide.
Who is not eligible
Projects covering the whole agglomeration are excluded. Expenses incurred before the agreement is signed, capital projects, legal fees, deficit or debt repayment, and expenses already fully funded by another source are not eligible.
Eligible expenses
Eligible expenses directly tied to the project may include labour and professional fees, purchase or rental of material, promotion and communication, punctual travel, administration up to 5%, training, research, rental, and other indispensable project expenses.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
Ineligible costs and activities include fundraising campaigns or sponsorships, capital financing, purchase, construction, renovation or layout of premises or buildings, expenses incurred before the agreement is signed, legal fees, deficit or debt repayment, and expenses fully funded by another source.
Eligible geographic areas
Activities must take place on the territory of the City of Longueuil. The broader social development page refers to the local Longueuil level and the agglomeration level, but this program guide excludes projects covering the entire agglomeration.
Processing and Agreement
Selected organizations must sign an agreement with the City, attend a mid-term meeting and submit a final report with receipts if requested. The 2023 guide allowed projects to run up to two years after the agreement was signed, with payment in two installments.
