Overview

The Smart and Caring Community Grants provide important financial support to community organizations dedicated to addressing social issues affecting vulnerable populations within Abbotsford. These grants can support projects with an funding limit of up to $15,000 for an 18-month period or up to $30,000 for an extended period of 32 months.

The primary aim of these grants is to foster social equity and resilience in the local community by supporting initiatives that improve housing, food security, mental health, and more for residents at risk. The program emphasizes sustainability, inclusivity, and meeting emergent social needs, enabling organizations to develop impactful interventions right within the community.
