How to apply
- Step 1: Confirm registry status
- Ensure the organization is registered and in good standing with the Community Group Registry Program.
- Submit a Statement of Interest Form by September 26, 2025 if registration is still needed.
- Step 2: Prepare the application
- Complete the online application in the City’s Grants Portal.
- Provide organization contact and mailing details.
- Answer all questions and complete the budget section.
- Review and sign the terms and conditions.
- Upload the required financial documents.
- Step 3: Submit online
- Submit the application through the Grants Portal by the deadline.
- Do not submit by email, fax, paper copy, or other formats.
- Step 4: Receive confirmation
- Watch for the submission confirmation email.
- Contact the City if no confirmation is received within 24 hours.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by City staff for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.
- A Staff Review Committee evaluates eligible applications and makes funding recommendations.
- Recommended applications go to the Director of Recreation and Culture for approval.
- Applicants receive a written results notice and may request feedback if not funded.
