- Companies that do not meet the Small Cidery definition
- Affiliated licensed cideries beyond the one permitted applicant in a group
- Applicants with more than 3 million litres of Ontario alcoholic cider sales
- Applicants with more than 4.5 million litres of worldwide alcoholic cider production or sales
