How to apply
- Step 1: Request the budget template
- Email the designated contact by the stated deadline to request the budget template.
- Step 2: Prepare the application package
- Complete the application form and detailed budget.
- Gather the required organizational documents and signed forms.
- Step 3: Submit through Partners@International
- Upload the full application package to the portal before the deadline.
- Ensure each co-signatory is registered and has uploaded required documents.
- Step 4: Confirm submission
- Review the portal instructions carefully and keep proof of submission.
Processing and Agreement
- Funding decisions will be made on the merit assessment of your application.
- Global Affairs Canada may fund one proposal, or none, up to the maximum funding available.
- The fund manager will sign sub-agreements with Canadian, international, and local organizations for project implementation and ensure accountability for these sub-grants.
- Each signatory is jointly and severally responsible for meeting the obligations of the funding agreement with GAC.

- Your organization may only apply to this call once as an applicant/signatory.
- Sub-grantees must be selected through an open, competitive, fair and transparent process.
- There must be no conflict of interest between fund managers and recipients.
- The sub-grantees must be at an arm’s length relationship with the fund manager.
