How to apply

  • Step 1: Review program documents
    • Read the Community Improvement Plan, By-law No. 104-24, and the sample Grant Agreement.
  • Step 2: Meet with municipal staff
    • Attend the required pre-application meeting to confirm eligibility and required materials.
  • Step 3: Complete the application
    • Provide the application form and all supporting documents requested.
    • Include property details, project description, and cost estimate information.
  • Step 4: Submit the application
    • Send the completed package by mail, hand delivery, or email to the Planning Coordinator.
  • Step 5: Await review and decision
    • The Committee reviews the application, and Council makes the final decision.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by the Community Improvement Plan Application Review Committee.
  • Municipal staff may inspect the property before making a recommendation.
  • The Committee makes a recommendation to Council for a final decision.
  • Approved applicants must sign a grant agreement with the Municipality.
  • Inspections are conducted during construction and after completion before payment.
