How to apply

  • Step 1: Obtain the application form
    • Get the form from the County of Brant Administration Office or the County website.
  • Step 2: Complete the application
    • Fill out the form for the relevant tax year.
  • Step 3: Submit the application
    • Send the completed application to the County of Brant Manager of Finance, Revenues by mail or email.

Processing and Agreement

  • Application is forwarded to the Assessment Review Board for a hearing.
  • The applicant receives a Notice of Hearing with the date, time, and location.
  • Evidence is reviewed at the hearing, and the Board decides based on the applicant’s situation.
  • A written decision is sent to the applicant and the County of Brant.
