Who is eligible?

Eligible expenses

  • Meal preparation and grocery or meal delivery, excluding food costs
  • Healthcare services such as physiotherapy, mental health support, and other wellness services
  • Home heating, repairs, and regular heating maintenance
  • House cleaning, laundry, organizing, moving help, and small home repairs
  • Transportation, phone, cellphone, and internet services

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Food costs
  • Devices such as phones, cellphones, computers, laptops, and tablets
  • Medical and assistive devices, including eyeglasses and dentures
  • Medications, prescriptions, supplements, and vitamins

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed after submission.
  • Additional information may be requested by email if needed.
  • Reimbursement is usually received within about 8 weeks.
