How to apply

  • Step 1: Contact UTRCA staff
    • Speak with staff for advice and species selection.
    • Confirm whether you will use landowner planting or UTRCA planting services.
  • Step 2: Place your order
    • Order seedlings by the February 27 deadline.
    • For landowner planting, meet the minimum order and species quantity rules.
  • Step 3: Complete site preparation
    • Prepare the site and stake it as required.
    • For UTRCA planting services, allow staff to prepare the planting plan.
  • Step 4: Receive invoice and payment instructions
    • UTRCA invoices the landowner in January or February.
    • Make payment when invoiced.

Processing and Agreement

  • UTRCA staff review the site and prepare a planting plan.
  • The landowner completes required site preparation and staking.
  • UTRCA invoices the landowner in January or February.
  • Payment is due after invoicing.

Additional information

  • Species and quantities are subject to nursery availability.
  • Tree survival is not guaranteed.
  • Landowners can choose between UTRCA planting services or planting the seedlings themselves.
  • Contact staff in the fall for the best species selection.
