How to apply
- Step 1: Meet with local municipality
- Contact the local municipality to discuss the project.
- Obtain a completed and signed Local Municipal Summary.
- Step 2: Prepare application
- Complete the application form.
- Gather two detailed estimates for all work.
- Include the required supporting documents.
- Step 3: Submit application
- Submit the completed package to the Review Committee Coordinator by email or in person.
- Send the application before the posted intake deadline.
- Step 4: Review and decision
- The application is reviewed and scored.
- You are notified if additional information is needed.
- Final approval is made by the Approvals Committee and County Council.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are first reviewed by local municipal staff and then by County staff.
- Complete applications are evaluated and scored based on how well they meet program goals and the quality of the submission.
- Applicants are notified if their application is incomplete and what is needed to complete it.
- Final approval or refusal is made by the Regional Incentives Program Approvals Committee and ratified by County Council.
- Successful applicants enter into an agreement before funding is released after completion and final inspection.
