- Retroactive work started before the intake date, except for the specified fee and study grants

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are first reviewed by local municipal staff and then by County staff.
- Complete applications are evaluated and scored based on how well they meet program goals and the quality of the submission.
- Applicants are notified if their application is incomplete and what is needed to complete it.
- Final approval or refusal is made by the Regional Incentives Program Approvals Committee and ratified by County Council.
- Successful applicants enter into an agreement before funding is released after completion and final inspection.
