Eligibility
Who is eligible?
- International students.
- Applicants aged at least 18.
- Applicants with nationality other than Canadian or French.
- Applicants outside Canada when they apply.
- Students admitted full-time to a vocational program in Quebec leading to a DEP, a DEP followed by an ASP, or a double DEP.
Who is not eligible
- Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada, including applicants in the process of obtaining permanent residence.
- Applicants with French nationality.
- Applicants who have previously benefited from a scholarship for studies at an equal or higher level in Quebec.
- Applicants who would accumulate scholarships during the same school year.
- Applications submitted by a recruitment agent, immigration consultant, or immigration lawyer are not accepted.

- Living expenses for the duration of studies.
- Tuition exemption for international students.
- Medical coverage through RAMQ.

- Immigration application costs.
- Round-trip travel to Canada.
- Private medical insurance before RAMQ coverage starts.
- Training-related materials and uniforms.
- Other costs linked to the stay in Quebec.
Selection criteria
- Motivations and interests: 30%; academic background: 30%; awards and distinctions: 5%; recommendations: 15%; overall application quality: 20%.
- A 50% ratio of prioritized training programs must be respected in the award allocation.
- A 50% ratio of prioritized regions must be respected in the award allocation.
How to apply
- Check whether you meet the eligibility criteria.
- Register on the contest platform during the application period from Wednesday, 2 September 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Quebec time to Wednesday, 14 October 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Quebec time.
- Complete your profile and review the personal-information terms.
- Choose one training and one training center from the list on the platform.
- Complete the mandatory sections using your documents.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are analyzed by the selected educational institution.
- Depending on the participating institutions, Éducation internationale may use a random selection tool to transmit a maximum number of applications.
- Files preselected by the institution are sent to an external selection committee, which reevaluates them and ranks them by merit.
- Recipients are determined according to the scholarship budget, and when the budget is exhausted, tuition-exemption-only awards may be granted to meritorious candidates who declared financial capacity of 15,000 CAD or more.
- Shortlisted and non-shortlisted candidates are notified by email, and recipients are later supported by Éducation internationale and the vocational center to plan their arrival in Quebec.
