• Copy of the identification page of your passport or national identity card, and a copy of your original birth certificate

• French and Canadian nationals
• Applicants with Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status, including those in the process of obtaining permanent residence
• Applicants previously found guilty of submitting fraudulent documents in this program or any other Ministry of Education program

• Applications with incomplete, unreadable, or non-compliant files
• False declarations or fraudulent documents
• Studies in preparatory programs
• Duplicate complete applications from the same candidate

• Register on the bourses platform.
• Complete your profile and read the terms related to personal information.
• Choose one training and one vocational training center from the list in the Concours de bourses d’excellence section.
• Complete the mandatory sections and upload the required documents online.

• Applications are reviewed by the chosen institution first.
• Shortlisted files are then sent to an external selection committee.
• Final decisions are based on merit and available scholarship budget.
• Applicants are notified in writing of the result.
• Selected recipients must accept the program conditions to participate.

• Applications are free of charge.
• The 2026-2027 competition runs from Wednesday, September 2 at 12:00 p.m. Quebec time to Wednesday, October 14 at 11:59 p.m. Quebec time.
• The application form is entirely online and no other format is accepted.
• Documents must be in French or English; documents in another language must be translated by a certified translator, and documents sent by email are not accepted.
