Overview
Provides up to $1,000 to offset costs for traffic safety and acquired brain injury prevention initiatives. Eligible activities are projects aligned with SGI priorities such as impaired driving, seatbelt and child car seat use, pedestrian and bicycle safety, snowmobile safety, aging/new drivers, high collision sites, sport and recreation injury prevention, workplace safety, and fall-related brain-injury prevention.

Step 1: Complete application form
- Fill out the Community Grant application form
- Send the completed form to SGI Traffic Safety Community Outreach by email, fax, or mail
- Ensure the request is received at least 20 working days before the event date
- For October project applications, expect awards by December 31
- For February project applications, expect awards by April 30
