The program awards up to $10,000 per selected applicant to support agricultural society initiatives. It funds community-focused projects that enhance residents’ lives in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
Activities funded
- Community initiatives delivered by agricultural societies that enhance residents’ lives.
- Projects related to community events, activity facilities, or clubs operated by agricultural societies.
Examples of admissible projects:

LED lighting and accessibility upgrades for arena and wash facilities
$ 10,000
Outdoor canopy, power, and seating to expand community events

Eligibility
- The applicant must be an agricultural society located in Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba.
- The proposed project must be completed within two years of receiving funding.
- The proposed project must enhance the lives of community residents.
