How to apply
- Submit a complete application via the RISE Germany online application portal.
- Successful students receive an Outcome Letter from Mitacs and instructions for next steps.
- Successful applicants must submit the Mitacs Student Code of Conduct and Ethics Form, the International Pre-Departure Form, and any supplementary documents, as applicable.
- The application is approved, and the final Award Letter is issued.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by an interdisciplinary team
- Successful candidates are selected by DAAD
- Mitacs issues an Outcome Letter and then a final Award Letter
- Funding is released only after required forms are received
- Selected students complete the internship in Germany and submit an exit survey
