Processing and Agreement
- The municipality reviews the written application and supporting documents.
- The application must be accepted by the General Manager, Corporate Services & Community Relations.
- A building permit and occupancy certificate must be issued before the tax exemption certificate is granted.
- An agreement must be signed before the exemption certificate is issued.
- The municipality may cancel the certificate if conditions are not met.
